MOBINA GALORE release NEW song + video “WHISKEY WATER”

“Whiskey Water” is a celebration of life, if you will. It’s about summer nights with friends you see on the road, drinking wine straight from the bottle and moments that you never want to end.
Sometimes these moments are brought on by the pain of losing someone you love when you’re miles away from home, but it’s our family on the road that helps us through those times to create perfect moments.
We were on tour a few summers ago on our way to a festival in Ontario when I got word that my grandma had passed away and that I wouldn’t be making it back to Edmonton for the funeral.
We played the festival that night with some really good friends and had the best time, despite what was going on behind the scenes.
The lyrics to “Whiskey Water” started coming as we were driving to and from that festival; soaking in the reality of everything happening, the good and the bad.
Grandma’s favourite drink was a whiskey water.
We drank one in her honour that night on tour.
